This study sets out to explore the psychological processes of resolving conflicts in Nigeria. The study adopted the qualitative research paradigm and data were gathered by means of semi-structured interviews. The participants were fifteen survivors of ethno-religious conflicts in Nigeria. Some intriguing findings were made following the interviews of these participants. These findings were presented and analysed by means of thematic analysis method. The three major themes that emerged from the interviews capture participants’ experiences of the conflicts: consequences of the conflicts, resolving conflict and government’s tactics to reducing the conflicts.
