Type A Behaviour and Academic Performance of Four Hundred Level Students in Akwa Ibom State University.
Abstract
The study was conducted to examine the influence of type A behavior on the academic performance of four hundred level students in Akwa Ibom State University. Survey research design was adopted for the study. This type of design enabled the researcher to obtain data directly from the respondents. Population for the study was 1700. 324 was the sample size and it was derived using Taro Yamene’s formula for sample size determination. Primary data was employed for the study. Instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire. Descriptive and Inferential statistics were employed in analyzing the collected data. Ordinal Logistic Regression was the inferential statistics. Findings revealed that Competitiveness showed standardized value of 3.246 while organizational support showed value of 7.298. Based on this finding, it was concluded that type A personality has a positive and significant relationship with academic performance of four hundred level students in Akwa Ibom State University. As recommendation, the university management should encourage the competitive behaviour of the students by giving reward to the best academic performing students. Also, the university management should ensure that both the teachers and all staff adhere to the university policies.

Supply-Side Factors and Financial Inclusion of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Southwest, Nigeria.
Abstract
The study investigated the nexus between supply-side factors and financial inclusion of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Southwest, Nigeria. The study population comprised of MSMEs and Deposits Money Banks (DMBs). Using survey research design and structured questionnaires, a multistage sampling technique was adopted to collect data from both MSMEs and DMBs. Data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used for inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis result showed that adequate ICT and sufficient number of banks’ branches are the leading supply-side factors capable of boosting financial inclusion of MSMEs. Empirical findings demonstrated that supply-side factors had positive and significant influence on financial inclusion of MSMEs. In addition, the results showed that bank proxy by ATM availability and closeness as well as sufficient number of POS are critical drivers of MSMEs’ financial inclusion. The study concluded by underscoring the critical role of supply-side factors in boosting financial inclusion of MSMEs in Southwest, Nigeria. Towards enhancing MSMEs’ financial inclusion, the study recommended that DMBs should improve the quality of services provided through ATMs with sufficient POS agents’ outlets that support seamless account opening and debit cards issuance.

Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Development At Media Mall Eket, Akwa Ibom State.
Abstract
Purpose: This study examined the impact of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial development at Media Mall Eket, Akwa Ibom State.
Methodology: Utilizing a survey research design and census sampling technique, data were collected from all 58 employees. Analysis involved coding and applying descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, and multiple regressions using SPSS.
Findings: Findings revealed that Idea Generation had a significant positive effect on Entrepreneurial Development (p = 0.000) while Problem-Solving had a significant negative effect (p = 0.995). Process Innovation demonstrated a very weak positive effect (p = 0.958), and Marketing Innovation had a significant positive effect (p = 0.000).
Originality / Value: The study concludes that Idea Generation and Marketing Innovation are the most influential variables on Entrepreneurial Development. Recommendations include fostering creativity through brainstorming and innovation challenges, investing in advanced marketing strategies, and focusing on customer feedback. It is also suggested to enhance training for critical thinking and problem-solving, adopt structured problem-solving frameworks, and increase resources for Research and Development. These steps aim to stimulate innovation and improve entrepreneurial outcomes.

Moderating Effect of Informal Sector Contribution on the Relationship Between Entrepreneurial Spirit and Job Creation in Kaduna State.
Abstract
Job creation has been widely acknowledged as mean of achieving economic sustainable development through reduction on the level of social vices and generation of entrepreneurial mindset. However, the contribution of the informal sector has been little or even insignificant and thus implies decline on entrepreneurial spirit which is belief to hamper on venture creation. This study adopted descriptive survey approach and 489 respondents were sampled using proportionate stratified sampling technique from the population of 15558 small businesses across the twenty three Local Government Areas in Kaduna State. Entrepreneurship Event Model framework was adapted to underpin the study. The findings indicated a positive relationship between entrepreneurial spirit and job creation and the results further revealed that informal sector contribution does not significantly moderate the relationship between entrepreneurial spirit and job creation. The study recommended that policy makers should provides conducive entrepreneurial ecosystem that will foster the development of entrepreneurial spirit as it is capable of improving job creation which fosters economic development.

Moderating Role of Transformational Leadership in the Relationship Between Workplace Incivility, Emotional Intelligence, and Work Engagement.
Abstract
This study examined the moderating role of transformational leadership in the relationship between workplace incivility, emotional intelligence, and work engagement among non-teaching staff at Akwa Ibom State University. A cross-sectional survey design was adopted, and a sample of 340 participants, selected using multi-stage sampling, completed validated instruments including the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, Workplace Incivility Scale, Emotional Intelligence Competence Scale, and Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire. The data was anaylsed using moderated multiple regression among others. Results revealed that workplace incivility and emotional intelligence significantly predicted work engagement, accounting for 25.8% of the variance (R² = 0.258, F(2, 337) = 58.734, p < .001). Post-hoc analyses indicated significant differences in work engagement across levels of workplace incivility and emotional intelligence (p < .001). Further, transformational leadership moderated the relationship between workplace incivility and work engagement, as evidenced by an increase in explained variance in work engagement (∆R² = 0.035, F(3, 336) = 40.79, p < .001). It was concluded that the cultivation of transformational leadership within organisations could reduce the adverse consequences of workplace incivility and improve the level of engagement among employees.
